San Diego Zoo Safari Park has a whole crash of activities planned for World Rhino Day on Tuesday, September 22.
Guests will enjoy a special day of rhino themed enrichment activities and meet the park’s rhino keepers. Visitors can make their own rhino conservation pledge flags and have the chance to become Heroes for Wildlife and help San Diego Zoo Global with rhino conservation by joining the San Diego Zoo Global Wildlife Conservancy.
To honor the Safari Park’s beloved Nola, one of four northern white rhinos left in the world, a sky art project will take place at 9:30 a.m. at the African Plains Overlook with over 165 volunteers holding art cards that will reveal a graphic of Nola. The first 300 guests entering the Safari Park will receive #rally4rhino wristbands. Come support rhinos!
